About Vidal Quintanilla
Vidal is a Mexican American, Texas Native born in the border town known as the Rio Grande Valley. Vidal grew up in the city of Palmview, TX. Vidal holds a BA in Business Management with a concentration in Human Resources from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and an MPH in Public Health with a concentration in Healthcare Management from Texas A&M University.
Since 2017, Vidal has proudly called Plano home, dedicating himself to active community involvement and making a difference. He's worked tirelessly to be a voice for the people, meeting with council members, listening to residents, and turning their feedback into real action. Vidal is committed to creating a stronger, more connected Plano for everyone.
Vidal is a dedicated servant leader with a proven track record of community service. He has served as a commissioner on the City of Plano’s Community Relations Commission, working to foster inclusivity and unity. He’s an active member of the Hope’s Door New Beginning Center Young Professionals Committee, the North Texas Disability Chamber, and both the Plano Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association (PCPAAA) and Plano Fire Rescue Associates (PRFA). A proud graduate of Leadership Plano Class 40 and the Plano Citizens Government Academy, Vidal continues to give back, volunteering with organizations like the North Texas Food Bank, Local Good Center, and Hope Restored Missions. His commitment to Plano runs deep, and he is ready to bring this passion for service to even greater heights as an elected council member.
Vidal Quintanilla is Vice President of Human Resources at Access Healthcare, a leading provider of Revenue Cycle Management Services to US Healthcare industry. Access Healthcare is a multi-national organization with over 27,000 people spread across US, India and Philippines. As a business executive, Vidal leads and manages Access Healthcare’s Human Resources functions in the US. Vidal also partners with Mergers & Acquisitions team for Due Diligence and Integrations. Prior to joining Access Healthcare, Vidal served as Vice President of Human Resources for GI Alliance.
